Balinor

Balinor is a Daemon in Ultima V, residing in Stonegate.

When the Avatar tried to get access to Stonegate in Ultima V, Balinor blocked his/her way at the orders of the Shadowlords, but offered passage if his riddle was solved. However, Balinor was revealed to be a sore loser, because after his riddle was solved, he attacked anyway. In the following battle, he was slaughtered and the way to Stonegate was free.

• His riddle is: "What is as tall as a house, round as a cup, and all the king's horses can't draw it up?" The answer is "well", but as said, it isn't important, because he attacks anyway.
