This two meter long reptile is the king of the swamps, and it isn't kind to anyone daring to enter its domain. Once the alligator spots an intruder, it will rush through the murky waters towards him or her, to rip the intruder to pieces with its sharp and numerous teeth. Lengthy weapons like halberds are best to defend yourself again these beasts.
Alligators are found either in swamps or at lakes.
First encountered in Ultima VI, they also appeared in Ultima VII and Ultima VII Part Two, with no changes in looks or behaviour.

Care must be taken whilst wading in the murky swamps which are the home of this aggressive man-eater. Possessing great physical strength, this fearsome lizard can inflict heavy damage with a single blow from its mighty tail.
