Bucia is a shopkeeper in Moonshade on the Serpent Isle in Ultima VII Part Two, doing all the everyday work that her boss Flindo doesn't want to dirty his hands with.
First she offered the services of the store: selling and buying. She also offered money exchange and proved to be the second most versatile money exchanger on the Serpent Isle, right after Devra. However, then the Avatar asked about information, and Bucia revealed herself to be a real gossip-spring.
Most the things she said about the inhabitants of Moonshade -and that meant she "knew things" about everyone- were utterly false or outlandish. Still, the Avatar managed to filter out some useful information from this mix of gossip. Bucia also identified strange objects, and was able to positively identify Columna's stockings and Frigidazzi's fur cap.
After talking to Pothos, the Avatar had become curious, so returning to Bucia, she revealed her speculation that he and Erstam looked a lot alike. This piece of information was crucial to get Pothos to talk about his father. Bucia was also seen in the mock trial, eagerly telling what the Avatar had asked her. However, when hearing the sentence she became aware that she should've said nothing and regretted it.
Later, when Shamino the Anarch invaded Moonshade, Bucia was killed in the crossfire of the mage duels.
