Denby is a trainer in Britain in Ultima VII.
Denby was a spiritually-minded fighter who had dedicated his life to peace. Denby was willing to teach the Avatar a series of physical exercises that would increase intelligence and magic casting abilities. He made it clear that he was no mage, only training abilities that helped a magic user. He believed that his exercises were not of a violent nature, but should be used as a deterrent, and he hoped Britannia could shed its violent past and move on to a new future.
