Goats are harmless creatures that roam the Britannian countryside, and provide meat for the people of Britannia.
After the events of Ultima VII, all the sheep in Britannia became replaced by goats for unknown reasons. New Magincia especially had a large population of goats during the time of Ultima IX, who were watched over by Katrina the shepherd.
