Helena is the ghost of the last queen of Rhiannon, resting in the Tomb of Praecor Loth.
Praecor Loth and Helena really loved each other, so during his war against the Guardian, he sent her far away from the front lines so that she would be safe. But then she got the horrible news of his death. Feeling that her life was empty without him, she committed suicide with a dagger to be with him. However, in a cruel twist of fate, the spell of the selfish Three kept her away from her husband, while forcing her to haunt his tomb.
She waited for someone to come and help, and then finally the Avatar came in Ultima Underworld II. She went on to tell the story of the war against the Guardian and how the kingdom fell, a fact that she was well aware of. She was still angry over the way how the Three only thought of themselves and forced her husband into his existence as a shade while denying all of them their peace. She knew only little of Lethe and Lord Umbria but warned that Morphius was full of deceit and deadly tricks.
The Avatar promised her to free all of them, after getting stronger, something that Helena agreed to, since she knew the sheer power of the Three. Later, Praecor Loth finally left the world to rest, so Helena's soul escaped to the void, finally at peace and re-united with her beloved husband.
