Kaiko is a farmer living in New Magincia in Ultima V
Kaiko showed a dislike for the regime of Lord Blackthorn. She explained that while the Magincian farmers would never take more than their share and would like to use the rest of their yield to feed the hungry, the Shadowlords claimed half of their harvest. She also told the Avatar the story of how Hassad of the Great Council had sought refuge in New Magincia and lived there for a long time, before the Shadowlords found him and imprisoned him within the dungeon of Blackthorn's palace.
