Prektesh is the Agrarian of Hellas, who works hard on regrowing his people's bodies.
The Avatar met him in the Dream-World during Martian Dreams, where he told the Avatar his theories about regrowing the bodies of his people, saying that the plague unleashed by Raxachk should be gone by then. He explained a lot of the procedure to the Avatar, including which things to keep in mind. He then offered himself for the first transfer to set an example.
Prektesh dying
However, after first things seemed to have gone right, he became deathly sick. He then realized in horror that, while the plague had vanished from the air, it had moved into the soil of Mars, making the growth of their plant bodies totally impossible.
He told the Avatar to seek another way, before he died horribly from the plague.
