Shazzana was a Knight of Monitor, a city on the Serpent Isle in Ultima VII Part Two.
A member of the Leopard Command, Shazzana was born to fight. As much as any of the Knights of the city, she longed for glory and dreamed about one day becoming the Champion Knight. High spirited, Shazzana would eagerly challenge anyone to a duel.
She was close friends with Astrid, the current Champion Knight, and mourned her loss at the hands of Monitor's eternal enemies, the Goblins. Shazzana was so skilled in combat that most of the other Knights came to her for training (including the leaders of all three of the city's Commands). Like most of the women of Monitor, she had nothing but contempt for Luther. When he accused the provisioner Krayg of treachery without proof during a banquet for the Avatar, Shazzana literally leaped to defend him, fighting Luther in the midst of the hall until Lord Marsten stopped them.
Prior to the Avatar's arrival, Shazzana had met Deadeye, a companion to the sage Batlin. The two had engaged in combat on the List Field and been intimate off the field. She was strongly attracted to Deadeye and was tempted when Batlin offered her a job. However, she did not believe she could trust Batlin, so ultimately declined the offer.
Like most of the citizens of Monitor, Shazzana was killed when the Bane of Wantonness (possessing the body of Dupre) conquered the city at the head of a huge army of Goblins and other ferocious monsters.
