Whip

The Whip, while being of some power, can't be really considered a useful weapon. While having long reach, it is very difficult to properly use and has a low attack frequency. Therefore, the whip is mostly used as a form of non-lethal punishment, and by several couples with unusual private habits.

According to Vetron's Guide to Weapons and Armour, the whip has a "4" effectiveness rating.

History[]

Whips only appeared in Ultima VII. During that time, the stronger Lightning Whip also appeared, which is much better suited for combat.

Trivia[]

It is strangely hard to find a normal whip in the game. The only ones known are the whip Hook uses, and the one in the example below.
When searching through Rotoluncia's island home in Moonshade, a whip, a banana, diapers and bindings can be found. Just what she and Filbercio had been doing with these items is a mystery likely better left unsolved.
