Jennifer is a young girl living in the lighthouse of Fogsbane with her grandfather Jotham.
When meeting her in Ultima V, Jennifer spoke about how their lighthouse ensured that ships sailing to Britain won't run on any reefs. She also spoke about her grandfather and that he'd been a great sailor who'd seen lots of things, suggesting to the Avatar to ask him about it.
