Kapyundi (meaning ‘little glacier’) is a Gwani warrior, the son of Yenani and Myauri.
He'd been in a hunting party of five to kill an Ice Dragon to get the blood that could save his sister Neyobi's life. However, the Dragons had expected them and slaughtered most of the group. Only he and the hunt leader Gilwoyai managed to escape.
On their way back to the village they encountered the Avatar in Ultima VII Part Two. Kapyundi told the hero of the disastrous results of their hunt and that there had to be another way into the dragon lair. He also felt ashamed of his failure, since the Dragons had eaten the bodies, destroying any hope of a proper burial.
Kapyundi later was murdered by Hazard when he slaughtered almost all of the Gwani population.
