Possibly primitive relatives of some of Mondain's earliest experiments, the lizard men, lava lizards are usually found near active volcanoes or other great sources of heat. Extremely aggressive, these flame-borne beasts are capable of actually spitting superheated lava great distances—even before they can be engaged in combat.
They are encountered mainly in dungeons near volcanic activity, but can occasionally be found wandering Britannia's surface.
Lava lizards appeared only in Ultima IV, and were never seen again.

These reptilian creatures love fire and dwell in infernos. In combat they have been known to spit flaming lava thirty feet, so beware these evil beasts!
