finding the Mage Shield
The Mage Shield is a special shield, which enchantments woven into it, that absorb part of the power of magical attacks, to protect the wielder. However, finding such a shield is especially rare.
In Ultima IX, Mariah had such a shield in her possession. However, the Avatar had no chance to use it, since he had to exchange it with Batista for the sigil of Honesty. It is unknown what happened to the shield after that.
