Manrel, from Ultima VI
Manrel was a friendly man who told the Avatar that he was a woodworker, although he dabbled in alchemy. Manrel admitted to the Avatar that he was not a great alchemist, and that he had difficulty creating healing potions, although he seemed to have no trouble making red mead. Most of Manrel's time seemed to be spent with his drinking buddy Derydlus at the 'Blue Bottle Tavern', and Mandrel admitted to the Avatar that he got his codex tattoo as the result of a late night of drinking after the Avatar discovered the Codex of Ultimate Wisdom.
Manrel's cousin Beyvin was recently killed, and was buried with the rune of honesty. Manrel was willing to give the Avatar the key to his cousin's crypt in exchange for promising to place daffodils on his grave.
