Scepter

The Scepter of Lord British is a very powerful magical tool. Waving it destroys any kind of magical force fields, even the walls of the Shadowlords in dungeon Doom's first room.
The Scepter was saved from Lord Blackthorn by Chuckles, who gave it to a trusted knight to bring it to safety. Sadly, when he came through Trinsic, a Shadowlord was in town and stole the Scepter. The Shadowlords stored it in their keep Stonegate. It was there, where the Avatar found it, guarded by the Daemon Balinor and the Shadowlords, behind deadly traps. Only with the Scepter it was possible to get through dungeon Doom. It wasn't physically seen again in later Ultimas, but most likely remained with Lord British.

- The Shadowlords really fear the Scepter. Whenever one attacks the party and the Scepter is in the Avatar's possession, the Shadowlord steals it.
- It is like a mighty Dispel Field-spell.
- It's impossible to get the Scepter from Stonegate without the Magic Carpet. Without it, the entire party will die.
