Tear of Seas

The Tear of Seas is one of the five fragments of the great Blackrock Obelisk of Pagan. It is Hydros' object of power.
When the Obelisk was shattered by the Guardian, the Tear of Seas landed in the sea, where Hydros found it, and stored it safely in one of the drowned cities of Pagan. It stayed there, until one day, Devon found it in one of his fishing nets, and kept it. He gave it to the Avatar when he/she asked for it in Ultima VIII. He/she used it then to drain Hydros of her powers. It melted into the other fragments, reforming the Obelisk.

- It is likely that originally Avatar would've found the Tear, instead of being handed by Devon. The deleted powers of Tempestry would've provided Avatar the chance to find it from the drowned city.
