Thoxa, from Ultima VII Part Two
Thoxa is a Xenkan Monk. Unlike the other Monks, she believes that action has to be taken to prevent the disaster that could end all life. This of course brings her into trouble with Karnax, who believes that this is the wrong way.
She was the first person the Avatar met on the Serpent Isle in Ultima VII Part Two. She gave the hero the Hourglass of Fate, before explaining more about the situation, the prophecy and her personal reasons for helping the Avatar. However, Karnax found her, and both of them traded blows, before being recalled to Monk Isle. The Avatar later met her there, where she gave more good advice about the hourglass and the daily lives of the Monks and how they knew what to do next.
The Avatar when trying to cross Gorlab Swamp found Thoxa dreaming in a representation of the Temple of Emotion, telling the Avatar that it is important to look through the Moon's Eye, an ancient articat in the real temple, before waking up.
She resurrected the hero's companions, if needed, being called when the hourglass was used.
- Thoxa manages the copy protection, because of being unsure if the Avatar is the person of the prophecy.
- When the Hourglass is used, Thoxa appears and helps to resurrect fallen companions.
